THANK YOU for sending this IEW material out to parents! I wish every parent would know about the IEW material; I am using it for about 4-5 years now - it is best language curriculum ever! My kids do all the lessons as a game with great pleasure! I'm talking about writing classes, Fix It, Spelling, PAL, Poetry memorization - these are the ones I have used so far. I strongly recommend them to all children, regardless the level they are in. As for parents I strongly recommend to listen to Mr. Andrew Pudewa's podcasts and speeches - I have learned most about homeschooling from him and I apply them every day in our schedule.  -LV  ON

I am so excited to start using AAR with both of my children.
I don't know how to teach them English and feel frustrated after meeting with school teachers regarding my son's no interest in reading. After all, systematic and step-by-step teaching is not so easy for parents. Coupled with my son's difficulty in reading, his interest is not high. Nice to come across this systematic approach that gives me a guiding light for teaching my grade 1 son at home and looking forward that my 4-year-old daughter will learn English efficiently.

This was our first year ordering butterflies and we had an awesome experience. We just realized our butterflies today and my kids are already asking if we can get more caterpillars again next year. We had 5 caterpillars, which all turned into chrysalis and ended up with 4 butterflies. I was so worried that it wouldn't work out or that we would mess it up but we just followed the directions that came with the butterflies and we had great success. We found the whole process to be easy and very rewarding. The only thing I wasn't aware of when we ordered the butterflies was that we would need a habitat to move the chrysalis to. Perhaps I didn't read the description properly when I bought them but I was under the impression that we would have everything we needed to raise them when we bought them. It all worked out and we made a habitat that worked. We will definitely order them again next year. It was one of the highlights of our year, for sure! Oh and we also had our neighbour kids over to see the caterpillars and then the chrysalis and of course the butterflies. They were just as excited as our kids and they were here today when we released them. What a thrill!
