Singapore Math® Essential Math is a series of two books and is written especially for the kindergarten student. It reinforces concepts and essential skills relevant for this age, enhances their understanding of the things around them, and motivates them to explore and learn more. There are useful ideas at the bottom of each page for parents and teachers to introduce the concepts concretely before doing the workbook page, and for extending the concept after doing the page. The front and back page of one page can constitute a day’s lesson.

This course can be used as a kindergarten level supplement or as a stand-alone program. There is no separate teacher’s guide, but there is material at the bottom of each page to aid parents and teachers in presenting the concepts.
