All About Spelling Level 1 brings together the three pathways to learning—auditory (hearing), visual (seeing), and kinesthetic (touching). This multisensory approach, combined with a built-in review system and reinforcement activities, ensures that students retain what they learn and understand how to apply it in practical situations.
To teach Level 1, you will need the Teacher's Manual and Student Packet and either the All About Spelling Basic or All About Spelling Deluxe Spelling Interactive Kit, which contains non-consumable items like the letter tiles that you will use in all levels of the program.
Teaching more than one student? For each additional student, you will need a Level 1 Student Packet, a set of divider cards, and a Spelling Review Box (or a 3"x5" index card box).
The three readers
Run Bug Run, The Runt Pig. and Cobweb the Cat are an optional component of the spelling program. The words used in the readers correlate 100% with All About Spelling Level 1 and provide excellent visual reinforcement of the spelling words your child is learning.
